Water Safety Day

Manor Park officers attended the Water Safety Day this morning as Beckton basin.

This was organised by our colleagues at the London Fire Brigade and included support groups such as the Marine Support Unit.

Lots of stalls and interactions including live demonstrations of pulling someone in difficulty from the water.

With the recent spate of tragic drownings which have occurred around the UK during the hot weather this was a well organised event offering very relevant advice to residents.
